Ingredients
1/2 C benecol or butter or margrn
1 C Sugr or 3/4 C honey
2 eggs or egg beaters
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 C flour
1 tsp baking soda ( add 1/4 tsp more if using honey)
1 tsp cinamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 C shredded peeled apples
1/2 C chopd nuts
Preparation
oven 350 if sugar/ 325 if honey/40 min round cake pan oiled & dusted beat butr & honey well, beat in eggs one at a time- stir in the rest and spoon n2 pan. cool 10 min - put on rack 10 min. serve w/ ice cream or s\whipped cream
