Ingredients

1 c flour

1 c sugar

1 t baking powder

3/4 t salt

1 t cinnamon

1 egg

1/3 c melted butter

1/2 c chopped pecans

4 c sliced peeled apples

Preparation

Line buttered 8x8x2 baking dish with apple slices. Sift dry ingredients together and work in egg with pastry blender until consistency of coarse meal. Sprinkle over apple slices. Drizzle melted butter over the top. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes until brown.
