Ingredients

5 cups sliced, peeled apples

1/2 cup sugar

2 Tbsp flour

3 Tbsp lemon juice

1 pie shell

TOPPING:

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp cinnamon

4 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice. Stir in sugar and flour. Spoon into the pie shell. In a small bowl, mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle over the apples. Place pie pan onto a foil-lined cookie sheet to catch drippings. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes.
