Ingredients

1 package pie crust mix

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp lemon rind

1/2 cup sour cream

3/4 cup each walnuts and dates, finely chopped

Preparation

Fill tart pan or cupcake tin with 5 inch pastry rounds, fluting the edges. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spoon filling into tart shells. Bake 450 degrees ten minutes and then lower to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes until filling is firm. Cool completely. Serve topped with sour cream, walnut halves, or whipped cream.
