Ingredients

1 pound Bacon, diced

1 Yellow Onion, large, diced

1/2 cup Orange Juice

12 ounces Cranberries, Fresh

1 Apple, large ( peeled, cored, diced

1/2 cup Sugar

Preparation

Cook Bacon in a large saucepan till crisp. Transfer to a plate leaving the fat in the pan.

Add onion to the pan and cook till lightly browned. Remove and add to the bacon.

Dispose of the fat in the pan but leave the scrapings in the pan.Add the OJ and simmer, scraping up the bits from the pan.

Add cranberries, apple, and sugar, bring to a simmer. Cook till berries pop and everything thickens, about 6 minutes.

Return the bacon and onions to the pan, mix well, season with S&P to taste, serve warm.
