Ingredients
1 cn whole cranberry sauce (16 oz)
1 T lemon juice
1⁄4 t cinnamon
1⁄4 t ginger
6 pears, medium
Preparation
Combine cranberry sauce, lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger in small sauce pan and heat until it comes to a boil. Core (small melon baller does a great job of coring) 6 medium pears, place cut side down in a 9x13 pan. Pour cranberry mixture over them. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes, or until pears are tender. Serve warm as side dish or as a dessert with ice cream.
