Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1 cup sugar

2 cups cider vinegar

2 cups blackberries

1/4 cup Chambord

1/2 cup chicken broth

Preparation

  1. melt butter; add sugar and simmer 10 min until lightly browned
  2. add vinegar; bring to boil and reduce to 1.5 cups (approx 20 min)
  3. add berries & chambord & chicken broth, bring to boil and simmer 5 min
