Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoon butter

1 cup onions, chopped

1/2 cup carrots, chopped

1/2 cup celery

1 salt and pepper to taste (cayenne)

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

1 1/2 pound ground beef

1 1/2 cups milk

2 cups wine white

28 ounce Marzano tomatoes 1 can

2 1/2 cups water as needed

Preparation

Saute onions, celery and carrots in butter and oil.

when veggies are done, add meat and saute for 5 minutes

add seasoning, then add milk, simmer until it is gone

add white wine and simmer until gone

crush tomatoes and add to pot. Add water to can and add to pot

simmer for 4-6 hours, uncovered and stir occasionally.
