Ingredients

Bread - I use white.

Noodles - about twice to three times as much as the bread.

Butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Cook and drain the noodles. Cube or break up bread as for stuffing. I lightly toast mine first which help caramelize the sugar in the bread. Brown the bread in butter in a pot. You may have to add butter as it is absorbed Add the noodles to the bread and add milk, start small, to moisten the bread and cook to heat thoroughly, stirring often. You may have to add milk to keep it just on the moist side of dry. Add salt and pepper.
