Ingredients

1 Beef Brisket (4-6 lbs)

2 teaspoons Salt

2 teaspoons Black Pepper (coarse)

1/2 pound Bacon

1 Onion (diced)

4 cloves Garlic (minced)

1 [14.5oz] can Tomatoes [diced]

2 cups Beef Stock

1 1/2 cups Barbecue Sauce (spicy)

3/4 cup Brown Sugar

1 tablespoon Molasses

1 bottle Beer (porter)

1/4 cup Cider Vinegar

Preparation

  1. MIx all ingredients except brisket and bacon.

  2. Brown brisket in frying pan.

  3. Wrap brisket in bacon.

  4. Cover bottom of crock pot with 1/4 mixture.

  5. Place brisket in crock pot, cover with remaining mixture

  6. Cook on low 8 - 10 hours
