Ingredients
Broccoli florets - 80g
Banana flower -100no.
Chana Dal-30g
Saunf - 5g
Sunflower oil - 30ml
Mustard seeds - 1g
Whole Jeera - 1g
Split Urad Dal - 3g
Chopped onions - 100g
Chopped ginger - 1g
Preparation
Peel banana flower and remove stigma. Now chop and keep in turmeric water otherwise the colour will change. Blanch broccoli florets and banana flower separately and keep aside. Soak Chana Dal for atleast 3 hours, and then coarsely grind in mixer. Mix saunf and set the mixture on a plate or a tray and steam for 10-15minutes. In a Separate sauce pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, whole jeera. Allow mustard to crackle, then put split urad dal, chopped onion and ginger. Now add the blanched Broccoli and Banana flower and toss to infuse all the flavours. Check for salt, garnish and serve hot.
