Ingredients
8 slices bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
1/2 of a yellow onion, diced
1 1/2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 pkg. (10 oz.) fresh or frozen Brussels sprouts, if large, cut in half
Pecan pieces, as many as you like
Preparation
In large fry pan, fry bacon until medium crisp. Add the onion, balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. As this caramelizes, add the brussels sprouts and toss together for 5-7 minutes or until Brussels Sprouts are tender crisp. Add a little water if it gets too dry. Season with salt and pepper and stir in pecan pieces.
