Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups of flour

1 cup of brown sugar(soft)

1/2 cup of white cane sugar

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder***

***or baking soda for the cakes instead of cookies

Wet Ingredients:

2 sticks of salted butter

1 stick of margarine

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1 large egg

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350°

First, you melt your butter and margarine with the brown sugar and white sugar in the microwave or in a sauce pan. You then put them in a mixer and whip them for five minutes. While whipping them gradually add in the egg and vegetable oil. After they are whipped and blended turn off the mixer and add in your flour and baking powder/Soda then you continue to whip the batter.

Finally, you take a melon baller(for a smaller sized cookie, make them as big as you like!!!) and scoop your batter onto a cookie sheet and bake on 350° for 8- ten minutes.
