Ingredients
2 cups cabbage, roughly chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
796 ml can diced tomatoes, undrained
½ cup water
1 cup Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice
Preparation
Add ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and paprika to a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the ground beef is browned (about 7 to 10 minutes). Stir in oregano, basil, diced tomatoes, water and rice and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium low. Cover and simmer for 18 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Stir before serving. Serve hot.
