Ingredients

3 cans chick peas. 16 oz each

6 red potatoes, peeled chopped

1 large yellow onion, chopped

5 Roma tomatoes, chopped

One small can tomato paste

Water, 3 cups?

One spice packet, Shan brand

3 jalapenos, seeded, deveined, chopped

Cilantro to taste

Preparation

Place all in crock pot, cook low heat for 6-8 hours. Add jalapenos 30 min before serving.

Alternative- lentils instead of chick peas.

Will absorb fluids upon standing.

Serve with basmati rice. Cilantro on top
