Ingredients
5 sour apples (pippin, granny smith, or gala)
1 nectarine, peach, or perssimon
1/2 lemon
5 eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons cream of wheat (or breadcrumbs)
Preparation
Peel and cut apples into 1 inch square pieces. Slice nectarine (or peach, perssimon) into 1/4 inch slices. Mix eggs, sugar, and flour until smooth. Heat oven to 380. Oil pan and sprinkle with cream of wheat (or breadcrumbs) until evenly covered. Fill pan with apple chunks and squeeze lemon juice on top. Pour batter into pan. Layer remaining apple and other fruit on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
