Ingredients
10 cup flour
2 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoon sugar
2 cup half and half
2 cup buttermilk
1 pound butter, melted
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoon chives, chopped
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream, buttermilk , and melted butter. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry. Mix with a wooden spoon until dough pulls together but is still crumbly.
On a floured surface, roll dough to 1" thickness and cut into 2" rounds.
