Ingredients

1/2 cup warm butter

1 1/2 cups sharp white cheddar, finely shredded

1/2 cup parmesan

1 egg yolk

1/4 tsp pepper

1 cup flour

pecans, chopped

Preparation

Combine ingredients. Roll into 1 inch balls. Wet balls lightly in water and roll in finely chopped pecans.

Press centres.

Bake 350 F for 10 minutes. Press centres again.

Cool on rack.

Fill centres with something yummy (jalapeno jelly is good).

Can freeze dough and use later.
