Ingredients
1 dozen eggs
2 cups sugar
1 T vanilla extract
1 Qt whipping cream (can add more to taste)
1 Qt half & half (can add more to taste)
13 oz of Jack Daniels
3/4 cup of rum
Preparation
Separate egg whites and yolks. Beat yolks with 1 cup of sugar until lemon yellow in color and smooth. Whip egg whites with 1/2 cup of sugar until stiff. Whip cream with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 T of vanilla extract. Fold yolk mixture into whites mixture. Fold cream into egg mixture. Pour half & half into egg and cream mixture. Add 13 oz of Jack Daniels Add 3/4 cup or more of rum
It tastes great as soon as you’re done, but it tastes even better 24 hours later. Keep refrigerated and should be OK for 5-6 days.
