Ingredients
2.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts optional
Preparation
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In mixer, mix butter and sugars until light and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- With mixture at slow, add flour mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts (optional).
- Chill dough for an hour.
- Bake small 1-inch balls at 375 deg F for 8-9 mins.
- Allow to cool on the pan for a minute or so before moving them to a rack.
