Ingredients

•3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

•2 limes zested

•½ cup lime juice

•4 tablespoons olive oil

•2 oz tequila

•½ cup water

•½ teaspoon ground cumin

•¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

•1 teaspoon salt

•½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper

•¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

•2 cloves of garlic, pressed

•½ cup onion, red finely chopped

Preparation

1.Place chicken breasts in slow cooker 2.Prepare the remaining ingredients as stated above and pour over chicken breasts 3.Cook on high for 1 hour 4.Turn chicken breasts over and turn slow cooker to low 5.Cook for another 2 hours or until tender and easily tears apart 6.Separate using tongs or forks and pour cooking juice over it to retain moisture and flavor
