Ingredients

1/2 lb salted codfish

1/4 cup of oil

3 Tbsp milk

a pinch of sugar

4 Tbsp corn starch

1 tsp chopped leak

1 tsp chopped parsley

1/2 small onion, diced

1/4 red pepper, diced

2 eggs

Preparation

  1. Soak the codfish overnight
  2. Boil the codfish in clean water until it starts to flake
  3. Flake the codfish finely
  4. Combine all ingredients in a bowl except for salt. Mix well. Test for salt and add it necessary.
  5. Heat oil on medium heat.
  6. Pour mixture, one spoonful at a time, shaping into a small cake.
  7. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Let drain on paper towel.
