Ingredients
1 pound bulk pork sausage
2 cups chopped onions
2 cups chopped celery
7-8 uppse crumbled corn bread
1 cup dried apricots, chopped
1 cupe dried cranberries
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon chopped sage or 1/2 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
1/2 cup butter
About 3/4 cups chicken broth
Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Cook sausage, then add onions and finish cooking
- Add celery, dried stuffing bread, fruit, eggs, sage and butter. Mix well
- Bake at 325 degrees covered until hot, about 25 minutes. Then uncover and continue cooking another 15 - 20 minutes, until top is lightly browned.
