Ingredients
4-5 # corned beef
one onion cut up
6 whole black peppers
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
3 or 4 whole cloves
1 head of cabbage cut into wedges
6 medium potatoes
pared whole carrots
Preparation
Cover meat with cold water and bring to a slow boil. reduce and cook meat 4-5 hours until tender 45 minutes before meat is done add carrots and potatoes then in another 15 minutes add cabbage.
Serve with horseradish and mustard
