Ingredients

1 can chicken broth

flour

1 cup milk

handful of cheddar cheese

2 - 3 heads broccoli

butter

1 small onion - minced

2 - 3 oz herbed cheese spread

Preparation

Chop the broccoli. Sautee onions and broccoli stalks. Add chicken broth and broccoli heads, with a touch of water. Boil until tender. Meanwhile, in a small pan add milk, butter, and flour. Sir over medium heat until thickened. Add cheese. Puree the broccoli and slowly add some of the chicken broth and milk/cheese mix. Season to taste with pepper, basil, and oregano.
