Ingredients

1/2 cup Heavy cream

3 1/2 cup vegetable or chicken broth

1 cup medium grind corn meal, preferably whole grain (not degermed)

1 teaspoon thyme

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Bring cream and broth to a boil in medium saucepan.

Slowly stir in corn meal and continue stirring until there are no lumps.

Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

Stir in basil and thyme, then parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
