Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1/4 C corn starch

1/2 C veg oil

2 green onions, thinly sliced

For sauce

1/2 C soy sauce

1/2 C brown sugar

3 cloves garlic minced

2 t grated fresh ginger

2 t veg oil

Preparation

In a med. bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, 2 t veg oil and 1/2 C water. Heat soy sauce mixture in a medium saucepan until slightly thickened, about 5-10 min. Set aside.

In large bowl, combine flank steak and corn starch.

Heat 1/2 C veg oil in wok. Add beef and stir fry until cooked through 1-2 min. Transfer to paper towel lined plate; discard xs oil.

Add beef and soy sauce mixture to wok over med heat and cook until sauce thickens 2-3 min. Stir in green onions. Serve immediately
