Ingredients
1 Large Container of fresh Roma Tomatoes from Sam’s Club chopped in halves
1 Onion (chopped into large pieces)
1 Bell Pepper (chopped into large pieces)
1 (14.5 Oz) Can Chicken Broth
1 Cup Milk (we use whole)
2 Tablespoons minced garlic (from the jar)
1/2-3/4 teaspoons salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon oregano
10 leaves chopped OR 2 tablespoons of basil
Grated cheese for garnish (we use parmesan)
Preparation
Throw it all into the Crock Pot and mix it together, cook on high for 4-5 hours. After it has cooked, use an immersion hand blender or pour into a blender….. blend ingredients into soup, garnish with grated cheese and freshly ground pepper, and you are ready to eat! We eat it with grilled cheese!!:)
