Ingredients

8 cloves Garlic (Minced)

1/2 Medium Onion (Chopped)

1/2 Medium Green Pepper (Chopped)

1/2 tablespoon Ground Cumin

1 tablespoon Red Wine Vineagar

1 teaspoon Oregano

1 Bay Leaf

2 cups Pinot Grigio

10 dashes Tabasco Sauce

16 ounces Dry Black Beans (1 Package)

Preparation

  1. Soak beans (Dry) for 24 hours with bay leaf

  2. Cook beans until soft (Add more water if needed)

  3. Prepare Sofrito - Add pepper and onion to a pan with olive oil

  • Saute until onions are translucent then add the remaining ingredients

-continue sauteing until garlic is straw colored then add to beans

  1. Cook beans until it is the correct consistency (Thickened)
