Ingredients

Crumble:

-2 packets of original instant oatmeal

-3⁄4 cup sugar

-2 cups flour

-1 egg

-1⁄2 cup butter (1 stick)

-1-2 tbsp orange juice

-1 tsp vanilla extract

Fruit:

-5-6 apples, skinned and diced

-1⁄4 cup sugar

-1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, mix together all dry ingredients (oatmeal, flour, sugar). Soften butter

(~15 seconds in the microwave) and pour into another mixing bowl along with egg, orange juice

and vanilla extract. Whisk wet ingredients together. Then, slowly add the contents of the dry

ingredient bowl into the wet mixture. Batter should be a dough-like consistency. If too wet, add

more flour. If too dry, add orange juice in small increments.

Skin and dice apples and place into glass baking dish. Pour in sugar and vanilla extract and mix

thoroughly so that the apples are nicely coated.

Pick up small pieces of crumble dough (from prepared bowl) and place in layers on top of the

apple preparation. Place baking dish in the oven (uncovered) for 30-35 minutes at 350F or until

the top of the crumble appears slightly golden-brown. Enjoy!
