Ingredients

3 cups flour

1/2 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup butter

1 1/4 cup sugar

4 eggs (rm temp)

1 cup buttermilk

1 tbl vanilla

zest from 1 orange

7 - 8 oz cranberries or blueberries or any frozen fruit

Preparation

oven at 350

Sift together flour, soda and salt.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add and beat in 1 egg at a time.

Mix together the buttermilk, vanilla and orange zest.

Add the flour and buttermilk alternatively to the butter mix.

Fold in Berries.

Add to 1 angel food cake pan or 2 loaf pans.

Bake for 1 hr.
