Ingredients

8 ounces beer

2 piece eggs

1 1/4 cups flour

1 package squid - frozen

1/4 cup water as needed

2 head lemon

1/4 cup cornstarch

Preparation

  1. crack eggs and beat lightly in large bowl

  2. add flour and cornstarch (sifted)

  3. add beer

  4. mix and add salt and pepper

  5. add up to 1/4 cup water to make thin as clam chowder

  6. clean and cut squid

  7. dip into batter then add to sizzling pot of oil

  8. remove when golden brown

  9. add lemon slices and cut parsley
