Ingredients
4.5 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 packets yeast
3/4 cup milk, scalded
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup sugar
2 piece eggs
Preparation
Combine dry ingredients in mixer bowl.
Scald milk, (bring to boil in microwave), and drop in cold butter, then stir to melt.
Add water to milk / butter, start mixer and add liquids; running till thoroughly combined.
Whisk two eggs lightly and add to batter, running two minutes till thoroughly uniform.
With mixer running, gradually add flour till dough begins to pull away from bowl; scrape bowl.
Turn dough onto floured surface; knead till smooth, about five minutes;
Lightly grease dough ball, place in covered bowl & raise in warm place till double.
Shape as dinner rolls or sw eet rolls and raise again.
