Ingredients
-2 plantains
-about 4 oz rum
-cococut syrup: about 1-2 ozs
-chocolate chips: enough to cover top of plantains
-coconut flakes: enough to. top the plantains
Preparation
- cut the plantains in half then split the halves
- put the plantains in a container wide enough that they are not on top of each other
- pour in the rum, coconut syrup, and brown sugar
- cover and shake to mix and coat the plantains
- let marinade for 4 hours
- grill the plantains, flip once you get grill marks on one side
- once the other side gets grill marks or the plantains start to soften; cover with the chocolate chips until they melt
- remove the grill, cover with coconut flakes
- stuff your face
