Ingredients
First layer:
1/2 cup butter
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 egg, well-beaten
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts
Second layer:
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon cream or milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
1.5 ounces unsweetened chocolate
(For a 9"x13" pan, increase the recipe by half.)
Preparation
For the first layer, melt butter and chocolate. Stir in the remainder of ingredients. Press into an 8"x8" pan and refrigerate.
For the second layer, mix all ingredients. Put over first layer and refrigerate.
For the topping, melt chocolate and pour over second layer.
