Ingredients

1 cup pecans or walnuts – chopped

1 package yellow cake mix

1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

4 each eggs

1/2 cup cold water

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup dark rum

GLAZE frosting

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup water

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup dark rum

Preparation

Grease and flour bundt or tube pan. Preheat oven to 325*F.

Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.

Mix all remaining cake ingredients together. Pour batter over nuts.

Bake at 325*F for 1 hour. Cool. Invert on serving plate.

Prick top of cake. Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over to and sides,

Repeat until glaze is used up.

For Glaze: melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in rum.
