Ingredients
8 pieces Chicken
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1 piece Sweet Onion - Large
20 pieces Carrots - baby
2 cloves Garlic
3 tablespoons Flour
3 cups Red Wine
2 pieces Bay Leaf
3 tablespoons Parsley
1/2 teaspoon Savory
1/2 teaspoon Type
12 ounces Mushrooms
1 cup Rice
1 Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
Brown chicken in oil oil in frying pan. Remove
Add onions, carrots, garlic and brown, followed by mushrooms to brown.
Add flour and mix in. Then add wine and seasonings. Mix and bring to boil.
Add chicken and cover with sauce.
Either simmer in pan for approximately 1 hour, or transfer to oven at 350 F.
While chicken is cooking prepare rice.
