Filling Ingredients for one pie-8" or 9"
1/2 C butter (no salt)
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate (live it up and use 2), melted
3/4 Cup Sugar
Preparation
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each. Pour filling into baked meringue shell and chill. Before serving, garnish with chocolate sprinkles, chopped nuts or whipped cream.
