Ingredients

2 cups Milk (reserve 4 Tablespoons)

1 Tablespoon Butter

2 egg yolks

4 Tablespoons Sugar

4 Tablespoons Flour

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Heat 1 ¾ cups milk with butter to simmer. Blend 4 tablespoons reserved milk, egg yolks, sugar and flour. When milk reaches simmer, add some hot milk to egg mixture – continue until egg mixture is tempered Add egg mixture to milk Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened Cool. Add Vanilla.
