Ingredients

1 2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup butter

3 eggs

4 very large ripe bananas

1 1/2 tsp.soda

1/3 cup buttermilk

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. baking powder

vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Add bananas. Mix soda and buttermilk in a separate bowl. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Alternately add dry and wet ingredients to creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in a jelly roll pan. 350 for 20 minutes. Don’t over bake.

Frosting:

1 1/2 sticks butter powdered sugar and vanilla

Just add powdered sugar, if it gets too thick add a little water to thin it out. Sherry says Grandma Mulvehill says to thin it out with water. :)
