Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

3/4 cups toasted wheat germ

1/4 cup nuts (almonds and/or walnuts and or any other nuts)

3 tbsp canola oil

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 tbsp orange zest (optional)

dried fruit (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300. Line large sheet pan with parchment paper. Mix dry ingredients together, then mix in wet ingredients. Spread mixture evenly on sheet pan. Bake for 30 minutes. If adding dried fruit, add and bake for another 10 minutes. Let cool and harden before serving.
