Ingredients
4 cups milk
2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa
4 heaping tablespoons shaved or chopped semisweet chocolate
Whipped cream
Preparation
Bring all ingredients, except whipped cream, to a simmer over medium heat, in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, stirring constantly. Don’t let milk boil. Remove from heat when chocolate melts; top with whipped cream.
