Ingredients
3 T. chopped onion
2 cinnamon sticks 3" each
13/4 c. chicken stock
4 T. butter
20 cloves
1/3 c. golden raisins
3/4 c. cashews
1.5 c. rice - rinsed till clear, soaked for 30 mins. sieve for 30 mins
1 t. salt
Preparation
melt butter over med. low heat; sauté cloves, onions, cinnamon till begins to brown. Add rice, stock and salt. Cook for 20 mins. Add cashews and raisins before serving.
