Ingredients
Compote:
1 pint raspberries
1 pint blueberries
1 pint blackberries
juice of half a lemon
3 tbsp sugar
Ciambella:
11/2 cup flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
8 Tbsp cold butter
1 large egg
1 tsp almond extract
1/4 cup cold milk
Preparation
- Heat oven 375 and mix compote. cook or leave fresh 2.Ciambella - mix dry ingredients in cuisinart.
- Chop in butter
- Put butter mix into separate bowl.
- Mix all wet ingredients. 6.Slowly add to dry until just mixed.
- Roll on well floured surface until 11/2 inch log 14 inches long.
- Make ring and place on well greased cookie sheet
- Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool and then top with compote and cream if wish.
