Ingredients
1 cup shortening or oil
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
6 cups flour
6 tsps baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon
Icing ingredients
3 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tbsp milk
food coloring as desired.
Preparation
- mix cream shortening and sugar.
- add eggs and beat them until mixed -sift all dry ingredients and add to mix slowly -add vanilla and orange juice to mix -drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 375 10-12 minutes.
