Ingredients

1 tablespoon Olive Oil

3 pieces Jalapenos (seeded and diced small)

4 teaspoons Garlic (minced)

2 cups Milk

4 tablespoons Butter

4 cups Vegetable Broth

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flake

16 ounces Fettucine

3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

1/4 cup Pepper Jack Cheese (grated)

Preparation

  1. In large skillet add olive oil and heat over medium heat.

  2. Add jalapenos and saute for 2 minutes. Stir frequently.

  3. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

  4. Add milk, butter, broth, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and pasta. Increase heat to medium high and bring to a boil.

  5. Use a wooden spoon and stir noodles as they soften. Reduce to low heat .

  6. Cover and simmer for 20 - 22 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  7. When sauce has thickened and noodles are al dente remove from heat.

  8. Add cheeses and stir to melt.
