Ingredients

1 cube butter, melted

1.5 cup sugar

3 eggs

2 teaspoon vanilla

3 ounces anise extract

1/4 cup whiskey

3 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons anise seeds

Preparation

preheat oven 350

melt butter and let cool

mix dry ingredients than add chopped nut to dry ingredients

mix wet ingredients ( first 6)

Add dry to wet and mix together

refrigerate dough for 1 hour

roll out into log place on parchment paper

bake for 30 minutes, rotating racks

slice roll at a angle

rebake biscotti for 10 min and flip biscotti and bake for additional 5 min
