Ingredients
Lamb
1 lb Ground lamb
1 lb Ground beef
1/2 Minced onion
2tsp Oregano
1tsp Cumin Powder
6tsp Cavenders Greek Seasoning
Rice
1 Cup basmati rice
2 Cup water
3/4 Tbsp Chicken Base
1/4tsp tumeric powder
1/4tsp chili powder
1/2tsp cumin powder
Preparation
For Lamb Squeeze water from the onion using a small cloth.
Add minced onion, 1lb ground lamb, 1lb ground beef, 1 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp oregano and blend for 2 minutes.
Then add 6tsp cavenders greek seasoning and blend again for a few more min.
Make into thin patties and cook on a skillet with light oil. Approx 3-4 min per side. Once cooked cut into pieces and set aside.
Rice Dissolve 3/4 tbsp of chicken base with 2 Cup of water and set aside.
Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder and 1/4 tsp chili powder to pan with light oil. Add rice and stir until blended. Then add the chicken base.
Allow to cook.
Add rice, lamb and salad and garnish with white sauce.
