Ingredients

3 lemons for zest 2 T

2 1/2 cups self rising flour

1+ cups sugar

6 T butter broken into small piece

1/4t salt

Cranberries dried

Pecan pieces

Extra flour for dusting work place and hands

1 egg plus extra yolk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 430* F Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper. Mix first 5 ingredients in food processor Add cranberries and pecans Mix then add egg Put out 1/2 mixture onto floured surface. Flour hands and make a round shape about 1/4 inch in thickness Using a cutter, cut out rounds to make 16 scones. Place on prepared cookie sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes. Do the same with rest of batter. Enjoy
