Ingredients

3 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

1 cup Karo white syrup

1 teaspoon salt

3 cup Peanuts, raw

1 teaspoon butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Mix sugar, syrup & water together; cook until it threads.

Add peanuts; stir continuously cooking until mixture turns light brown in color and peanuts are done. Do not overcook.

Remove from heat. Add soda, salt, butter & vanilla. Stir until mixed

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Spread as thin as possible. Stretch as it cools if you want real thin candy.
